Course overview
Experience the excitement of Turkish Orientale dance! This energetic and flashy stylization had an indelible influence on what we now call vintage American Cabaret. We'll learn the essence of this stylization as well as a fun choreography to Rompi Rompi. The first class includes a brief history of Turkish dance.
Taught in five classes using Suhaila’s easy-to-follow methodology and presented over several weeks.
Salimpour Fundamentals (100-level) experience recommended.
