About the Workshop

The Salimpour Fundamentals 1 Workshop is a two-day, in-person training designed for dancers seeking to learn the fundamentals of this dance form through guided study. Rooted in the Salimpour legacy, the workshop introduces foundational study through guided practice, somatic exploration, movement training, and community connection. Guided by Suhaila’s Core Dimension™, the program connects technique with context and embodied learning.

Participants are introduced to musicality, finger cymbals, and layered movement concepts and engage in guided exploration that connects lineage to contemporary practice.

 Recommended: Bring your finger cymbals!
